MIRI, SARAWAK – Fly Zone Enterprise was among the industry participants at the Sarawak Aviation Safety Programme (SASP) 2026 – Low Altitude Economy (LAE) Seminar, held on 31 March 2026 at Imperial Hotel, Miri.
Themed “Advancing the Low Altitude Economy (LAE): Safe, Smart and Sustainable Growth,” the programme brought together government agencies, aviation stakeholders, industry players, academic institutions and members of the public to discuss the development of the emerging Low Altitude Economy in Sarawak and Malaysia.
The seminar was organised by the Ministry of Transport Sarawak (MOTS) in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and Curtin University Malaysia. Discussions focused on aviation safety, regulatory readiness, technological development and the growing applications of drones and unmanned aerial systems across various sectors.
As part of the industry exhibition, Fly Zone Enterprise showcased drone technology and solutions, providing participants with an opportunity to gain closer exposure to the latest developments and applications within the drone industry.
The event also highlighted the growing potential of the Low Altitude Economy, particularly in areas such as agriculture, infrastructure inspection, logistics, public services and other aerial applications. With more than 300 participants from government, industry, academia, professional bodies and the public, the programme served as an important platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
